Posted: April 30, 2015

What’s New?

The second and final phase on the FO-S 1st & 2nd floors is complete. Furniture is being installed, and faculty will begin moving-in in the coming weeks.

The Past Week

• Completion of FO 1st & 2nd floors.
• Concrete retaining wall pours on south side of Alexia Hall.
• Mechanical demolition in Christopher Hall basement.

Coming Up in the Weeks Ahead

• Faculty move-in to new spaces on FO 1st and 2nd floors.
• Mechanical demolition to continue in Christopher Hall basement.
• Sitework & landscaping.
• Sod to be laid on temporary road from FO building to 39th street.

Fun Fact: An underground detention system will be installed this summer in the Pitman parking lot. Detention systems are employed on a site to reduce the quantity of stormwater runoff leaving a site by temporarily storing the runoff that exceeds a site’s allowable discharge rate, and releasing it slowly over time.
